IF I REMAIN ABSENT IN 3 OUT OF 4 EXAMS IN CA FINAL GROUP TWO & IN 1 PAPER I GOT AN EXEMPTION (SUPPOSE 70 MARKS ) CAN I CLAIM EXEMPTION

PLEASE HELP URGENTLY (|REFERENCE OF SORCE ARE WELCOMED)

No you have to appear in all papers of a group to claim exemption in even a single paper..........

	I have another query with respect to exemption. Is there a limit on the number of papers in which the exemption may be claimed. Let us suppose that I get above 60 in three papers and fail to get 40 in th fourth, will I be eligible for exemption in all the three papers?

ICAI exemption rules :- To claim exemption, you would have to secure atleast 60 or above marks in one or more subjects. These 60 or above marks are carried forward automatically for the immediate next three following examinations. Further presence is necessary in all the papers comprised in a group. The candidate is not eligible for any further exemption in the next three following examinations in the group (s) in which he got the exemption.
