Enquiry regarding show cause notice.

Please Assist.

I got show cause notice from gst department regarding my GST number that I have not filed gst return since January as I registered for GST in January but I was not having any sale.

I got notice that my gst number is suspended and if I file gst return now then it is showing heavy interest and late fees.

What to do because I am not having any profit.

what to do?

please assist.

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a user's concern about receiving a show cause notice from the GST department due to not filing returns since January, despite having no sales. Their GST number has been suspended, and filing now incurs significant interest and late fees, making it costly. The advice given is that nil returns should have been filed even without sales, and the user is now liable for penalties and interest as per the law.

You should file nil return in case if you have no sales.
now you have to bear penalty with interest
But if I file return with Nil then it will be very costly to me.

It is showing heavy interest liability.
No other options , by law your are liable to pay
Okkkkk Thanks
