Please guide me with the format of audit engagement letter for audit of General insurance company as i could not find any format for the same.

For the audit of Insurance company, the basic risk and responsibility of the auditor would be the same. You can refer to Appendix 1 of SA 210 - Agreeing the terms of Audit Engagement.
