Employer not providing form 16

Your employer is bound to provide you with teh Form16 for A.Y.2012-13.  Why is he not providing the form16.  As the details of TDS are not getting reflected in your form 26AS, so I think that the TDS is not being deposited by your employer.

In case your employer is not providing Form16, then you can calculate your taxable incoem on the basis of your salary slips for now.  Take the deductions under 80C etc... & file your return.

but what abount tax??

Now as the date of filing the return is being extended till 31st August, you have ample time.  Liase with your employer about this issue & enquire about teh Form 16 & TDS status.
