Eligible for final attempt or not with excess leaves

Hello experts,

I have received a letter from ICAI after switching my articleship firm in which I have been indicated about my excess leave taken during the said period. Now I have a doubt about my CA final exam attempt which may get hamper due to the excess leave taken . So Please guide me the same after understanding my case as follow:

I have joined FCA......... for articleship on 24th September 2014 .Then I switch the firm on 25th Feb 2015 which is my joining date in my new firm which is ................................. So accordingly I completed the articleship as on 25/02/2015 is 5 months 1 day (mentioned in the letter). Now as per the guideline, my CA final attempt would be May, 2017(i.e 6 months before completion of Articleship). Now My question is does my attempt will get delayed to Nov 2017 due to excess leave taken or Can I complete those 45 days after completion of my 3 years and give my CA final attempt in May 2017 ?

Please help . I am in great stress .

Hi,

According to me you will be eligible for May 2017 exams.

Going as per current scheme of things the eligibility condition for you to appear in May 2017 would be as follows : "completed or will be completing 3 years of articleship on or before 30th Oct 2017"

So as on the day of exam form you can assume that your articleship will be completed by next 6 months from 01 May 17.

However do take some more opinions and also you can check ur eligibility by visiting your regional centre they do so help with regards to eligibility check.

Please cofirm me that the excess leave which i have to render is not included in calculating the "completed or will be completing 3 years of articleship on or before 30th Oct 2017".

It means i can render my excess leaves after completing my 3 years of articleship from the date of original filling of form to ICAI.

I guess it is included but still its assumed that you will complete your articleship by 30 Oct 2017..reason being like at the time of submitting your form you assume the above and lateron say post your exams you take more leaves and the assumption changeS..so thats ok..at the time of submitting the form you no where state your total leaves taken.. this is what ia done by us practically.

Hi All,

Can I appear for IPCC exam this May-2017, before registering for serving the excess leave taken by be?

Is there any option so that I can appear for the IPCC exam and later restart the articleship to serve exces leave taken by me?

Eligible over the parts that will have to attempt portion on this that used to get along with the excess level that can put to have on it. I will able to work on these parties that should have to put data on these essayshark acts that will need to gain over these parties that were good to read.
