A STUDENT CLEARED CPT AND APPEARED IN IPCC GR 1 IN NOV 12. IN THE MEANTIME HE PASSED B COM WITH 55%. HE HAS REGISTERED FOR BOTH THE TRAINING PROGRAMMES BUT IN WAITING AS SEATS NOT AVAILABLE AT CHANDIGARH.
CAN HE START ARTICLE TRAINING BEFORE 31.03.2013 IF HE FAILS TO PASS GR 1 OF IPCC ?
THE ICAI HAS EXEMPTED BOTH TRAING PROGRAMMES TO START ARTICLE TRAINING TILL 31.03.2013. MY QUESTION IS WHETHER HE CAN START TRAINING WITHOUT PASSING GR 1 BUT PASSING B COM WITH MORE THAN 55% ?
Yes, after registering to ipcc direct entry scheme, one can start articleship and must complete both training programmes before the ipcc exam.(as while applying for ipcc exam you will asked for the date of completion of ITT and Orientaion).
