Dear Sirs,

I passed CPT in July’08. I joined in Articles in Oct’08. I am going to register for PCC in Nov’08. Am I eligible for PCC exams in May’10.

Plz kindly clarify my doubt.

to be eligible for may 2010 exams you need to be registered as an article on or before 1st November 2008 if you are registering on 1st november then you will be eligible otherwise not

if u get registered for PCC before or on 31st oct as an article then u r entitled to give exam in may 2010 otherwise not.....

u need to registe with icai before 1st of november 2008, then only u will be eligible.

yes u r eligible only if u join on or before 31st october 2008

yes you can give papers in may2010. best of luck and start preparing from now

u need to have completed 1.5yrs of articleship two months before exam date...

u r eligible 4 may'10 attempt. So dnt worry n gud luck.

 Hi

My Case is also the same. Don't worry..! If you are already in training i.e, before 31st Oct, 2008 itself then register it as early as possible so as to reach the Chapter within 30days of joining.

Incase if you are unable to register before 31st Oct, 2008 then you need to send late fee depending upto the delay.

All the details are available in PCC Registration / Articles Registration Forms...!

Good Luck...!

Hi ashima  you just purchase INCOME tax text book , rest all will be same ...if ICAI is  providing INCOME TAX book with amendments then purchase it ..     Other wise just purchase T. N. Manoharan or Vinod K Singhania or Padhukas ...Best one student friendly text book is T. N.Manoharan

Hi everyone,

I doing my bcom correspondence 1st year, this is after my 10th std on age basis, Knidly let me know i can go for pcc

sarojini

Sarojini Sister ,

You have to go for CPT , then only you will get eligibility for IPCC.

Registrations for PCC were closed , now you have IPCC instead of PCC

CPT is just like an Entrance or Aptitude Test ..

If you have any further queries , feel free to ask me

I Joined my articleship in January 2009, I have completed 15months by this month (i.e.April 2010)

AS FAR AS I KNOW : A student must complete 15months of articleship training + 3months leave prior to examination, Which totally sums up 18months,,,

IS THIS CORRECT or AM I WRONG SOMEWHERE ?
