Please advice me in case of Independent Directors
In case of a public holding co, its Associate Company has it whole time Employee on salary basis. can this Employee is Eligible For an Independent Director

Dear Dubey,
As per section 149(6), he is not eligible for appointment of independent director.
@ prakash: which subclause contradicts under sec149(6)
And i repeat my quest that is he eligible for that holding company
it is section 149 (6) (e) (i) of the Companies Act, 2013
Agree with Prakash ji.....not eligible for being an ID of the holding co.
