Eligibility for Becoming a KMP in a Private Limited Company

Hello,

I am a minor (17 years old) and I have incorporated a startup with 2 directors. I want to appoint myself as the CEO and that's possible, but is there any eligibility for becoming a KMP of a private limited? By eligibility, I refer to the minimum age to be a KMP.

There is no law on this but the MCA form and e-form doesn't accept my age as it's below 18.

Thanks,

You are currently unable to be officially appointed as a KMP or Director because you are under 18 years old. This is why the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) forms and e-filing systems do not accept your application. You will be eligible to hold these positions once you attain the age of majority (18 years) and meet the specific criteria for the role, such as obtaining a DIN.
