Yes the same is possible and the person is eligible to hold the office of Director. Though the terms of appointment are to be taken into account.

As far as company law is concerned there is no issue regarding appointment. However you are requested to refer the local law which governs the position of 'Jila Parshad' bcoz there may be some restriction in the local laws.
