Calculation of return on equity = average capital cost x .30 x 14%

Calculation of average capital cost:
.
Opening balance of capital cost (A) + New capital cost incurred during the year = Closing capital cost (B)

Average capital cost = (A+B) / 2

pre tax fixed profit 18% and corporate tax 30% on it workout to 23.4% which is dame considered in study material..
