Election---a poem

Just a small poem on the prevailing election scenario....

As i turned eighteen
And qualified to vote
Realized it's a matter of
Liquor,Muscle and Note

Those who acted as
puppets of our hand
Now don't have time
To visit our land

Promised to eradicate
corruption from the state
But now just focus
On filling their plate

All about scams,as we read
To our demands,they don't pay heed
But who had wondered
the people we choose
will make the state profusely bleed
