Its not necessary to file return online if income is within taxable limit.
yes in e-filing , one can file return with no tax - nil tax returns

Asit., being a professional person.., i would suggest you to file the NIL return too.., just to maintain the momento and records..
And yes, online filing give you an option of NIL return filing too.. Go ahead..

i agree wid dheeraj ji. u shud file nil return. u ll definitely get benefit in future of filing returns. whether it is nil return or tax return.

Hi,
I agree with all... It is always better to file the returns even if the income is below the exemption limit
Advantages:
- For applying the loans( generally 3 years is required)
-For applying VISA
-For claiming refunds( if excess TDS was deducted)
-For carry forward and setoff of losses
