Hi, I am filing individual ITR-2 return 139(4) delayed.

I am forced to choose old tax regime due to delayed filing I suppose.

Then under VIA, when I try to add 80C deduction amount, it shows warning "Deduction u/s 80C is more than Deduction details provided by the employer. Please re-verify."

I can still enter amount say 1,50,000/-, it takes the input.

However later it automatically makes "Amount eligible for deduction = 0"

Has anybody come across this issue. I have tried this on 2 returns, various times and same issue.
