is the date of franking is the reg date? i started my articleship from 10th Feb 2012 and my principal is ready to put that date on my form pls suggest

Effective date of commencement of articleship

The Institute considers
(a)the date of franking or
(b) the date you mentioned in Form 102 and Form 103
whichever is later as the date of commencement of your Articlehip.
However, I am not 100% sure about this!
So, you may better put a query @ www.icai.org/help in this regard.
