If mr. Ram orders a gift from amazon for his mother in UP and the seller is in maharashtra then which type of tax will be provided and which state will be destination state??

If supplier is in Maharashtra & Recepient is in UP , IGST is applicable

POS is UP

IGst will be provided because it is a sale within two different states and UP will be destination state.

Igst will be applicable.. Because it is inter state transaction

This is a case of Interstate supply of goods ,so that IGST will be applicable.
Since, GST is a destination based tax ,then in above case ,the destination of gift is in UP ,then UP will be the destination state.
