Quick Summary
An E-Way Bill is generally not required when a job worker returns finished goods to the principal manufacturer if both are located in the same premises. This is because the goods are not being transported via a motorised conveyance. However, you may still need to issue a delivery challan or obtain a pass for the movement of goods.
