Hi Friends,
1. I do find difficult to go for E filling of vat under the software tally 9 Rel 3 [Build 85]. when i go to gateway of tally ---> display ----> statutory reports ----> vat forms ----> EVAT Forms it displays " form 231.xls does not exist".
2. does any file is required in tally folder.
Please its urgent.

Please try like this
go to gateway of tally ---> display ----> statutory reports ----> vat forms ----> EVAT Annexures-----> it shows window
mentioning
Language: default
Format: Excel (spreadsheet)
Output file name: your TIN No.(eg.) 33300033312082008.xls
Then Export it.
after some time it will exported to tally folder. From there you can upload to VAT annexure.

In Tamilnadu We are having www.tnvat.gov.in like that please search with salestax website in your state. Then you should login your TIN No. & Password Then go to E- filing option------> Then select Form I -----> then feed the month and submit, then feed the VAT details and save it. ( VAT details you can get from Tally ----> vat return (print out).) Then feed the payment details, Then select annexure and choose upload as Excel file. Now you can upload the Excel file what you exported in Tally Folder. Then select Declaration ----> now view the Form I and annexure, if every thing is O.K. then give confirm. Then you can get acknowledgement. If you have any clarrification please login www.tnvat.gov.in then login to E filing procedure . it will guide you. EVAT filing method is different from each state.
Dear Mr.Shah,
Ensure that you are using Stat 75 (stat.900 specially given for Rel 3.0).
Copy Form-231.xls (an excel template given by MH VAT dept) to Tally installed folder.
Then you may export and check the same.

In Haryana VAT Return R1 and R2 are used to file the returns along with nearly 15 Sales and purchase Annexures

Generally Haryana VAT Returns are filed quarterly.
You may refer this Excel file for Annexures details.
Currently Iam using Tally.ERP 9 to generate Haryana VAT forms.
