E sugam validity renewal

Others 1450 views 1 replies

Sir,

i need to move material as stock transfer (telecom goods)  from my Bangalore Warehouse  to our Noida Warehouse. E Sugam generated on 1st Nov 2013 mentioning dispatch date as 5th Nov 2013, however material dispatched on 6th Nov 2013, so please suggest about validity of the E Sugam and weather any penalty will be imposed for goods transported after validity period and what can be done to avoid it.

Further how much penalty will be imposed for the same.

Mr Vikramjit,

There is no problem.A normal time of one day margin will be accepted for movement of goods to such far off places. In fact you should raise an e-sugam after booking a vehicle and loading in it.Some times you may quote a vehicle no and a transporter but, they may not turn up,or you may not be able to load all the goods you want to send in that vehicle. In future be careful on that point.,any information fed into system by way of e-sugam,will be difficult to change At the beginning much margin of time will not be allowed. When reaching the destination an extra time two or three days may be permitted........mjk
