Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether an e-invoice generated from a government portal is sufficient for claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC). According to legal opinion and a plain reading of Rule 48(6), an e-invoice with a QR code/IRN is generally sufficient, especially if the supplier has generated it as per Rule 48(4). Relying solely on a system-generated invoice without the e-invoice copy is not considered acceptable for ITC purposes.

Yes, Why not...???
As per opinion our legal person QR Code /IRN must have on system generated invoice.which used by regular invoicing by supplier.

supplier raised two invoice same no.
1) His system generated invoice
2) same invoice copy raised in E-Invoice portal.
If the supplier under the E-Invoice category then :

1 . E- Invoice only is enough...

2. E- Invoice with His system generated invoice is Okay

3. Only His system generated invoice - Not Okay.
In which section mention of portal E-invoice copy is sufficient for ITC .can u share ..
Plain reading of Rule 48(6) says there is no requirement of preparation of invoices in case where e invoice is generated as per Rule 48(4). Though there is requirement of invoice in section 16(2)(a) for claiming ITC

please check availability through in this details...
