E filing problem wrt deductions and donations

i am a central govt defence pensioner. i am trying to file my returns. when I came to the deductions portion and filled in the ppf and other details, the application accepted the data. but the moment I enter the 80GG details, the application is adding it to the previous amount and giving me a warning of overshooting the deduction limit. is this OK? has anything changed since last time? secondly I have donated some money towards covid relief activities for which the ashram claims, I am allowed 100% deduction, yet the application is not accepting the amount and deducting it from the total taxable amount ? can you please help me if there has been any changes in the rules. thanks

There's nothing wrong.Total limit is same. You seem to have invested higher amount.Just ho ahead with filing.
150000 is the limit NOT including rent , so why should it claim so? secondly, are my donations also limited to 150000? something wrong. all these years, i have claimed ppf deduction separately, rent deduction separately and donation deduction separately. thanks
