As we fill up ITR2, it does not get saved and becomes available if one logs out. When I log in, I get the following messages:
"You have saved draft of Income Tax Return pending for submission.
No saved draft"
Start New filing
Better to file offline. No such errors.

It is as simple as online.
Just download common utility from the Download section of the efiling site.
Extract it on your system.
Download prefilled data from the efiling site after login.
Fatch the prefilled data in the utility & prepare the ITR.
