I filed ITR on 24.7.15 and it was processed and refund got credited on 5.8.15 and I have already spent the money although there were messages from IT dept. about it, SBI Mumbai conveniently sent a mail today stating the refund has been processed and got credited. This is electronic speed. There was one more ITR filed by me on 24.7.15 (same day) it is till not cleared. I am suspecting it may be because of same mobile no. mentioned, which I have changed today for which a response from CPC came through mail. Systems are very nice but they work on their own.

Yes things are on the betterment path
how much time does it normally take with all e-verfication and efiling for a simple ITR1 which I filed on 24.7.15 still waiting
Sir nice to see that you are experiencing the benefits of E filing. We discussed this 2 weeks back, you were skeptical of e filing and atime lag of 3-4 months. Now your return has been processed i n less than 2 weeks.
The other return you filed may be delayed not because of same mobile no. etc. But due to extra verification needed for TDS etc. Or maybe the TDS is not fully reflected as yet in 26AS.
thanks for the feedback Mr. Rajagopalakrishnan, I appreciate it, however, it is still showing e-verified successfully, in fact the ITR is much simpler than the earlier one only interest income and no salary and TDS matches with 26 AS perfectly well.
Today server error in incometax website is appearing repeatedly. something seems wrong with their system / server / I.T. application. we should recommend for another award this year also.
yesterday I filed ITR2 and tried e-verification with Aadhar no and failed 4-5 times no SMS for the security code came on mobile, finally I tried with net banking it worked, the UIDAI also seems to work only between 10 am - 5 pm being a govt. organisation. Most interesting thing it generated all the security codes today and sent on my mobile almost after 26 hours, should we hold the ITR filing screen for 26 hours, certainly besides IT systems UIDAI also deserve an award for fastest response in 26 hours for simple SMS. great
