My client is a company who is manufacturer of power. Which is not excisable. The company says that there is future chances of getting this type of industry can be notified industry under scheme of "Dty Drawback". It is just a probablility that they will get it. Now the question my company who is a EPC for that power industry has lost original LR copy and DFT which is a basic documents for claiming duty drawback. After lot of studies i got that these documents are required only for Merchant Exporters.
Now in my case even i lost these documents can i claim reimbursement on behalf of orginal for buyers copy????
Kindly help me. Its urgent
