CA's providing dummy articleships are in every city of INDIA. Some even charge a certain sum of money annually to provide this facility. What a SHAME??!! This makes other students who are seriously pursuing articleship feel cheated. Now its high time that ICAI should take strict actions against them

gr8... doin dummy is atrocious... i wanna give Cisa so i hv flexi workin n not dummy... i cover my 35 - 40 hrs week wid the principal's work...

That is only one step among one million. ICAI does not care about articles: i am not a dummy and have found that non-dummy articles are made to work for more than 11 to 5 period. ICAI just makes rules but wears bangles while implementing them. ICAI consists of maximum of practising CAs for whom articles are a means of saving money: they do the work for Rs 1000(upto 1500) for which salaried person takes upto 10000. So that is why articleship period is never decreased to suit the students(CS has only 1.5 yrs of articleship and that too after CS inter). ICAI are only bigmouthed like netas while talking on dummies; only show the rosy side; but don't have the guts to do anything. ICAI will find many of its own members caught in the scam if they do so sincerely. Finding dummies and punishing them and singling out "full, sincere, rule abiding" ca students is like separating sand from soil in the Thar desert.

And what about the special "dummies" who even if found by icai; will go scot free; because their papa,mama,kaka is CA (their MIT). Students in these category are more detrimental than the remaining dummies; because as per rules

a)they stay at the office

b)they do the works

 

but they ca take leave as they want and as much as they  want (their relative mit will give their desired exam leave for CA exams and bcom while other articles under the same firm will get very few days for the exams)

And the amount of job they are given is not overburdening; they do articleship for learning purposes; the work they are given is sufficient enogh to learn the tricks of the trade; while for other articles under the same CA; they are made to sit for extra overtime hours as if they are highly paid employees(stipend is given as per minimum level of icai rules; 1000; see what the inflation has done to the students' daily expenses; even getting conveyance from CA is such a cumersome and harassing process)

Correct me if i am wrong; we become articles to study(primarily) and learn the tricks of the trade; learning how to do it; but CA overburden students as if articleship has been made to SUPPLY caS WITH cheap bakra STUDENTS.

Techers at my coaching institutes tell me and rightly so that the things that we we learn during articleship can be learnt in maximum 6 months(learning at a stretch); he gave us the examples of CAs who are well settled in their jobs although they were dummies; majority of teachers tag articleship as "too much long"; it should not be more than 1 yr(max 1.5 yr);

 

But who cares ? is ved jain listening?

Due to the lack of practising CAs(there are eough cas but they have created artifical scarcity) ; cpt pass find it really tough to get rtclsip. The have no bargaining power in front of CAs; so they succumb to the CAs illogical demands; icai has been atleast targeting the dummies in their notices; but what abt these exploting CAs; as they are the ones who run icai; they can do whatever they want;students' future is of no value

 

Dear, dont blame the faculties/ members, the actual culprit is the article who seeks such unethical favour, and yes in every field/ profession some less previleged members exist who have to do something against their will for their survival (Provide dummy seats for some money), or for their social life (obligatory). The same position is with faculties also, they provide classes between articlership hours as well as outside articleship hours because each student is not supposed to have been doing articleship (as there are many students, who unfortunately didn't succeed in their exmas during articleship, but they have to prepare the subjects even after their articleship, which can be during article hours). So dont try to be a hero by forwarding the mails to some autorities or by criticising someone on the net. but to try to persuade the dummies to become a regular article, or else complain for the article, who is the real culprit, hope you may understand this only after when you will come in the practice only, I just give you an expample - just imagine if your father asks his best freind (a CA) to accomodate a dummy seat under him for you, what you expect? does he have some other option then to provide the same? So be practicle, place yourself in other's shoe first & then criticise thatone.
