What is the Due date for unaudited Propreitory concern.
Is there any exception in case of loss incurred by propreitory firm.

Due Date for Propreitory firm is 31 July.
If there is Loss, ensure that Return fill on or before date for C/F Loss.
Correct me if I m not correct

Yup ! due date for an unaudited proprietary concern is31st July. And as CA Saurabh Shukla say, it should be filed before due date in case of loss to avail benefits.

ya due date for non audit cases is 31st July and if there is any loss in the current year the return has to be filed within the due date u/s. 139(1) to avail the carry forward benefits .

if no loss
then you can file upto March 31, 2011 with fine on Tax @ 1% P.a. on Tax
also upto March 31, 2012 with Fine on Tax + 5000 rs u/s 139 ( can be imposed)
