Due Date for Mar-2018

We are doing works contract service. We have been informed that the due date to remit the TDS up to 30-03-2018 is 7th of following month I.e as usual and for the entries accounted in 31-03-2018 only, the due date is 30-04-2018. Pls advise is it correct and if yes, kindly share the notification number

30 April 2018 -

Due date for deposit of Tax deducted by an assessee other than an office of the Government for the month of March, 2018.

We have been informed that for the provisional entries of Mar-2018 only, the due date of TDS Remittance is 30-04-2018 and for the other deductions like sub-contractors, Labour etc., the due date is 07.04.2018
