as per my knowledge
the due date of the filling of the income tax return for the previous years has been lapse other than p.y.17-18
but I just want to know whether there is any other way to file the income tax return for the same...

Yes, u/s. 119(2)(b) of IT act, after approval of condonation request by your jurisdictional ITO/JCIT; provided you have any refund due or loss to be carry forward.
