Please can anyone refer me the best notes for ca final direct taxes. I'm planning for self studying this subject. My attempt is due in may 2016. Which reference book is best in the market for easy self study. Kindly suggest one. Thanks

VG gupta sir's notes are best for self study.. 7 modules are there.. Easy to understand with proper illustrations in place..
Vinod Gupta iz best for self study dont look for any other author. There are 5 module and 1 summary module.Go for it
But isn't it a bit too vast? Each module book is very big and fat in size. I agree that vinod gupta's notes are considered best for dt. But how to go about dealing with such a huge syllabus?
