Drag and drop option?

Hi Ravi,

Let me tell you another way of doing it.

You type 1 in the cell

Now go to the below cell

Type=

Then again go back to the cell in which you have typed 1

Type +1

Then type Control C in the cell in which you have typed the formula i.e the second cell

Press Control down arrow

You will go to the last cell

From the last cell

Press control+shift+up arrow together

Press

Enter

You get the series

But my motive is not to write down 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.......... etc in series.

I want to search the option where appears + sign when i place cursor at bottm down. because it will help so many like- copying the formula.

which version of excel u r using 2003 or 2007?

if 2003 go to Tool menu - Other option sub menu then select edit and ative ALLOW DRAG & DROP

In Excel 2007, Click the office button, at the right side down corner u can find EXCEL OPTIONS, click on it, a dialog box appears in it click on ADVANCED option then select the 3rd one i.e., ENABLE FILL HANDLE AND CELL DRAG-AND-DROP.
