Do number of attempts matter for job in CA course and if yes then which stage IPCC attempts or final attempts or both??

NO, NOT AT ALL
Yes.. It does..
Many well-known companies specifically mentions "Cleared in First attempt only, can apply"..
They even don't give chance to appear for interview.
If you are planning to have own office, then no worries..
no client would ask for it..
Even... many corporates who believe in knowledge and intellect, also don't bother about attempts.
But.. yes.. as I mentioned, it does matter in few giant companies.

but package of 1st ranker

top 50 rankers
1st attempt both grps
1st attempt single grp
multiple attempts
Slab rates of package r as above !!!!
but a person even if failed can earn more than Rank holder
if he proves in interview that he is brilliant n practically very smart rather than theory studies
