Can you please tell me what is the rule for the Foreign National of Indian origin when he gets land acquisition compensation award share from his mother's property in India during the year 2020. Please kindly reply Sir.

DO NRI pay income tax if he gets land acquisition amount

Any person who gets income whose source is India is liable to pay income tax on that income in India.
If the tax is already paid on the land income and ypu get the share after that then you dont need to pay else you have to pay the tax
