do i need to declare ?

 I am PEII passed and doing articleship under a CA, and also persuing CS and MBA(Correspondence). When I informed my principal regarding this, he said "no need to inform CA institute as both the courses are correspondence".Please can anybody guide me as whether it would bocome a problem for me in future?

Yes u have to declare to ICAI about this in form no.112. Plz confirm this from the institute also. Thanks.

file 112 at the earliest and take the permission.

yes, surely ... u'll be in big trouble if u don't intimate the institute.. refer to page 2 of ur articleship deed which clearly directs u to intimate the institute regarding any additional course of study. Also, 2 courses at a time are prohibited.

yes, you have to inform the institute even if you are doing correspondence courses. Otherwisw, it may become hurdle at time of taking membership. so for your safer side inform the institute in form no.112
