I am going to write IPCC (second attempt) May 2013.
I have:
Law:Munish Bhandari 8th edition (which says amended upto 1st May 2012)
Auditing:Surbhi Bansal 9th edition
The latest books of these authors are Munish Bhandari 9th edition and Surbhi Bansal 10th edition.
Is it necessary to buy these new ones for the upcoming IPCC.
Kindly help ...

There are 5 amendments in Companies Act applicable for IPCC May 2013. Refer to the below mentioned link for the list of amendments as announced by the ICAI. There is no need to go for the latest edition.

and as far as Auditing is concerned, you need not buy the latest edition. Previous edition will suffice.
