can dividend be declared when there is no actual cash profit but profit mainly consists of forex gain

i think dividend can be declared...only condition is that you have to provide for acc depreciation b4 declaring dividend...
if divend is declared from the past profits it is sufficeint that past acc dep are provided for, to declare a dividend
