My Client is sub dealer in plywood he received discount as a credit note and portion of discount is pass on to Retailer.
Whether is GST is applicable on discount and Whether Dealer should raise Dedit Note on discount mentioning GST?
Kindly resolve the issue

As per section 15 sub section 3 of the CGST act 2017 , discount. shall not include in value of supply .It means you have to reduce discount and charge Gst .
