Whether any amount (excluding Sitting Fees) received by director of a Private limited company is to be treated as Professional Receipts u/s 194J or as a Salary Income u/s 192?

I think it depends on what type o Director is.. if he/she is Executive Director than it is Salary Income u/s 192 and if he/she is non executive director than it is professional receipts u/s 194 J and also liable to for GST.
