Hi Members!!

Can anyone tell me whether Directors' Remuneration will be shown under Employee Benefit Expense?

If no, then where this expense will be shown??

Thanks..

Remuneration paid to Director is not an Benefit paid to the director, but it's an income of the director for the services rendered by him to the company.

So it shud b shown seperately in the INcome STatement as Director's Remuneration.

As per the Guidance note of ICAI on Revised Schedule VI Director's Remuneration is to be shown as Employee cost in Statement of Profit and Loss..................
