The maximum limit of director is 15. but an company can appoint more than 15 directors by passing special resolution.

Maximum company can appoint 15 Directors.

However, by passing special resolution company may appoint 50 directors, subject to conditions that company shall have atleast 2 members either natural person or artificial person.

While conveying board meetings minimum number of directors should present as per AOA otherwise minimum number mentioned in CA act 2013.

No to become a director he should have DIN and not Disqualified to become a director.

No where it's mentioned that to become a director he/she should be a member or subscribe any shares. It's optional at his own discretion..
