As per sec168, the resignation shall take effect from-a) date on which the notice is recd. by co. Orb) the date specified by director in notice Whichever is later. in this case if a fraud took place in the co. After his giving the notice but the co. Didn't accept the same on that particular date So will he be still held liable for the fraud?

N by acceptance I meant that it was not shown as recd. by the co.

Show the proof of receipt of notice by the Comapny. Serve the notice through email or through speed post. So this problem will not arise.
