Can a Director of a Private Ltd. Company (or the Firm in Which such Director is Partner) be the Auditor of that Company??

No a director cannot become the auditor of the company because he is the employee of the company. Since it is a private limited company it is also possible that the owner himself may be the director. In this case the principle of Integrity and Objectivity of auditor will be violated.

Not allowed. Please see in section 226 of the Companies Act.

Just google it ,or go to mca.gov.in or vakilno1.com  to get the act.
