Guide me for below stated matter:

1. Is it mandatory to take DIR-4 on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/-?, as there is no specification made in the Companies Act, 2013 and Rules & Forms, 2014. Kindly guide me to proceed the DIN applicaiton process to attach of DIR-4 with DIR-3.

2. I have to apply for DIN application of three persons. Three of them belongs to one family. They have transferred from one residence to another on permanent basis. And they have only one current address proof i.e. light bill (in the name of spouce). So is it possible to attach the same copy of light bill for DIN applicaiton in each of them.

Provide assistance for the above said matter.

Hi Yogendra, To answer your queries..... 1. the stamp paper is no where specified....so DIR 4 can be in a Rs 10/- stamp paper also..... 2. No the address proof have to be for individual persons...u can attach the voter id or the passport or license etc. Hopefully it is clear.....

You can also use passport, election (voter identity) card, and ration card, driving license, electricity bill, telephone bill or aadhaar card as a proof of residence which should not be older than 2 months from the date of filing of the eForm.

IS IT APPLICABLE FOR DIR-2 ALSO?

MEANS ALSO DIR 2 HAS TO BE PRINTED ON STAMP PAPER?

Dear Parv,

Stamping is not at all required on DIR-2(consent letter), should be taken print out on plain paper and get it signed by proposed director and send it concern company where is proposing to be appointed.

Dear friends in profession,

Now, there is no requirement of attaching Form DIR-4 so no need of stamp paper. So, Form DIR-3 is self satisfactory.

Dear Nikhil Pilania,

The help file to eform DIR 3 still requires verification in DIR 4 as an attachment,are you sure that not attaching eform DIR 4 will not lead to rejection of DIN application.
