Diploma in Taxation Law

u want to work its fine ....

but i would suggest u to join CA...........

i have finished my DTL from ILS law college pune in 2005-06....

but that is not enough to be good in TAX....

well then i was suggested by friends and wellwisher's to join CA....

today I have completed CA Final just 2 years after that......

i havent completed my articleship yet am in the thirrd  year doing industrial training in bangalore with a software company......

u never know.... what is next... so why not go for it,,,,

i was in same dilemma when i finished DTL..... as a career in taxation its tough with just DTL today u need to be an expert.....

so go for it and join CA still there is a lot of time.... u just need to put a good effort.......

Suppose I decide to become tax consultant, what kind of registeration is needed?

I mean does anybody can become tax consultant or with DTL you have some powers/authority from government?

 

can anybody tell me?

according to me it does not require.

Hi, any body can become a tax consultant u need not even do DTL if u already have good working knowledge of Taxation......

 

There is no governing body nor government can delegate any authority....

DTL will help u gain knowledge of subjects the degree does not give u any authority....

im pusuing CA right now. i just wanted to know the diplomas a CA can do and the ones which are useful to him.

u can refer vinod gupta's book.... And for being a consultant u need to be any degree holder u need to be have sound knowledge of tax.... And if u will be qualidied CA than it will add value additon to ur consultancy as u will get right to sign tax audit report and certify other documents... All the best dear...

I am a working person working in the field of Accounts & Taxation since last twelve years, having B. Com Degree, have left my CWA Cours after Intership in 2006, but now i just want to know that if I complete DTL Cours will it help me for my future prospective.
