Din of a much later year

Dear Experts,

I am stuck with one query. A person has been alloted a din in Nov 2008 (as per approval date on mca website) but when I am clicking on the link " companies/ LLP in which a person is / was a director it is showing directorships dating back to the year 1999. I mean how is it possible that the person has obtained a din in 2008 while being a director since 1999?

Secondly is there some way I can retreive the last director list of a dormant company on Mca?
