DIN - no date of birth proof

An ideal identity proof is one which shows the applicant name, his/her photograph,father's name,and date of birth. Any one of the following can be used as a identity proof ; passport,voter identity card,driving licence,PAN card. The most apt one can be used.

If the person has a PAN card or Voter ID or Passport his dat eof birth would be mentioned therein.

However, if is not available, you can get an affidavit made and notarised and submiy along with the DIN application.

In case you have your birth certificate, then in that case u can also attach it to the DIN application as a proof for your date of birth....otherwise you have to go ahead with Avika's advise.

You may also submit LIC Policy Certificate having DOB in it.

Birth Certificate or School Leaving Certificate can also be used for this purpose.
