I am unable to understand your que. clearly.

Anyone can obtain DIN no. there is no requirement to be director in any company. Once DIN No. alloted it is unique no. forever whether one gets appointed director in any company or not. 

And if you are talking about the DIN allotment letter of DIN Cell you can obtain the same from the MCA site itself.

DEAR VIVEK IF ONE IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE AN DIRECTOR, WHAT ABOUT  DIN2 & DIN3 ????? AND WHAT ABOUT THE TIME LIMIT FOR INTIMATING THE CO. WHEN THEY ARE NOT EVEN APPOINTED WILL THEIR DIN NO. EXPIRE?

Din - 2 & Din - 3 are not applicable now. it was for them who has appointed as before July 01, 2007

Din - 2 Director intimate to company abt his details (also known as acceptance) - 7 days

Din - 3 Company intimate to ROC with attaching DIN - 2   - 30 days after getting DIN 2

now Form 32 is applicable and DIN 2 & DIN 3 has abolished

DIN never get expired (after approval) whether you have been appointed as director or not for whole life.

ONCE A DIN IS APPROVED IT WILL BE APPROVED UNLESS IT IS SURRENDERED HENCE NO NEED TO WORRY COMPANY CAN APPOINT THEM LATER

I just have the directors Name, PAN & DOB. Can i still find his DIN.

Dear Ankit, If the DIN has been approved before March 22, 2011, when the online approval of DIN was not applicable, then you can find out the DIN of the Director by going on MCA site and after filling up the details of the Directors in View DIN Approval Letter. But if the DIN has been approved there after, there is no any option to view the DIN.
