DIN-I attestation

Yes a CS in whole time employment can attest Form DIN 1. It is mentioned in the form only. You can go through the instructions of the form.

But the rules categoically said that  CS of the Company on which a person is proposed to be appointed as Director can certify the documents. Alternatively, a PCS can certify the documents.

Company Secretary in the whole time employment can attest the DIN-1 of any person.

There is no such restriction.

FYI: Company Secretary in the whole time employment also attest the DIN 3 of any person.

now Din 3 has been abolished for person appointed after July 01, 2007

But My Dear Friend, In Gujarat only there are 5500 companies, Which still do not have file the DIN 3 of the 60000 Companies..

So, Now also More than 9.5% Companies require to file DIN3..

And This is very old provision that Person appointed as Director after .... Not requires to file DIN 3
