Din correction

Dear All

While applying for DIN for one of the Directors there was error in his name as appearing on his passport and what was filled in the DIN form and also there was spelling error.

However the DIN with incorrect information got approved based on the co declaration signed by MD of the Co etc.

Now I would like to correct the same so please suggest if DIN 4 with revised Annexure II is required to be filed or I should wrire to DIN cell for correction of the error.

If Annexure II  to be filed with DIN 4 , I have to select -change of Name - option which is actually not correct and director being foreign national not willing to sign such document.

Pl suggest.

Dear Ankur

Your input in the matter is welcomed.

Hi,

there is no option of altering the DIN 1. Once its generated it cant be changed. You need to apply a fresh DIN for the Director

if possible go personally to  MCA office or at ROC, and sortout the matter forever, otherwise send them the detailed step wise step descripttion of mistake committed and correction you want.It is better to go personally there as i have experience of sorting a problem by visiting them and they were very coopoerative to me.

Mr Vishal- DIN has to be linked with PAN details. So the name appearing in PAN would reflect in DIN.

File DIN 4 & attach PAN, verification in pdf format

Mr Vallabh

The Director is a foreign national with no PAN

File Din 4 by Clicking on Change in Directors Name and attach Passport, you can get name as appears on the Pass port.

You say that there is error in Passport itself, first carry correction in pass port and file Din 4 with corrected pass port

dear vishal,

u can raise a ticket on mca portal and then go accordingly.

u can also try to convince the director to sign on din 4 verification and go for name change option.

regds,
