Please tell me that what is Gazette notification should be separately attached if name is different on the identity proof? Does it mean by notarized affidavit for idenity proof?

DIN 4 - Change in name

If there is no major variation in name (like in PAN card expanded name is given and in DIN short name) then attachment of PAN Card and the signed verification is sufficient.
Is it necessary to update PAN Number in respect of a foreign Director whose DIN was obtained using his Passport but subsequently the foreign Director has obtained PAN.
Passport Details are mandatorily required in case of obtaining DIN for a foreign national but as regards to the providing the PAN details for the same person is optional. However updating of details is always appreciated.
