DIN 4

You may just enter the DIN of such Director in blank Form No. 1A in entry no. 14 , if the PAN of such Director is reflecting in column for PAN then same had been mentioned at the time of applying DIN , otherwise you need to file DIN-4 with MCA for informing the PAN of such Director to MCA within the time specified by the said circular i.e. 31st May, 2011.

This is regarding DIN-4. While entering PAN no and and verifying the PAN. It shows the error that Name of the person as per DIN and Name as per PAN is not matching. Kindly inform me if anyone has faced this problem.

In this case you need to update the name of the Director as well. Name should be as per PAN Card.

You have 2 options:-

1. Arrange to update the name in the PAN Card then file form DIN-4

2. File Din 4 and update the name as well of the director as per PAN Card. Then update the name in Pan Card then file DIN-4. To comply the deadline of 31st May, 2011.

In case where a Foreigner is a Director of a Company is he also to get a PAN Card.  In case he is to obtain a PAN Card are we to follow the same routine procedure or is there a special procedure to be followed for Foreigners who are Directors of a Company.

Can you please provide me the link of form no 1A so that I can check the PAN no.??
